Nokia challenges iPhone? No, as you may take it to be, Nokia is not into some sort of brawl with the US Giant. The Finnish Giant retaliated by rolling out its new 8GB touch screen hunk including unlimited music downloads, and a whole  set of new features like GPS navigation and sharp music quality.

The music downloads capability has been brought in as a competitor for Apple’s iTunes. The hunk is named as Nokia 5800 Xpress Music and has maps and satellite navigation.

Evading the tax calculation, I must say that the set must cost around $400 for the Europeans. Thats cool considering the iPhone does fit into the same cost range.

The phone is also compatible with Nokia’s Comes with Music service, the iTunes competitor, hence we know that Nokia is definitely trying to give a killer blow to the iPhone.

But its far too early to give any analysis on the market turn-around. Thats because, the iPhone had a good publicist and hence was able to generate the required hype while the phone rolled out. But this may hinder the Finnish company’s phone launch, that being the major factor in providing the market valur for the 8GB beast.
