It is very common that most of computers are contagious to virus,as they spread like fire from one system to another,by just a carrier-USB drive.Check this problem ,by just following the given steps:
>Connect your pen drive or USB to PC.
>Now a dialogue window pops up in your monitor ,so as to choose among the options shown in the figure.
Don’t choose any of them and exit by Cancel hit.
>Now go to Start in the task bar and —>Run option,then type cmd to open the Command Prompt window.
>Next go to My Computer and check the Drive letter of your pen drive or USB(usually H:,F:,I:)
>In the command window type the drive letter and hit enter.
>Now type dir/w/o/a/p and hit enter.
>You will get a list of files.In that list search for any of the followings:
* Autorun.inf
* NewFolder.exe
* Bha.vbs
* Iexplore.vbs
* Info.exe
* New_Folder.exe
* Ravmon.exe
* RVHost.exe or any other files with .exe extension.
If you find any of the above files,run the command attrib-h-r-s-a and hit enter.
>Now delete each of the files,using the following command Del Filename
>Finally run any of your antivirus on the pen drive,just to ensure that your USB is free of virus.
