Well I just thought that Engadget and Ubergizmo are at the zenith of their techy invasion. So its time to throw some light upon some of the upcoming and best tech blogs that have to be appreciated for the work that they have put in and how they, in a very small period of time have come up the ranks in almost reverse geometric progression.

I am listing some of the favourites..

insPyreIT is my first choice. Well the blog is on the roll. I saw the blog for the first time about two three months ago and at that time it did not appeal to me since it was short of good material. But the chap has put in a lot of work since then and at this instant it has a rank of 800000 or so.

Now wait a minute, I ain’t solely relying on the rank or traffic to the blog. The quality of the content is fabulous. Well, it has to go a long way, but its ubercool.

———————————————————————————

Next comes TechDirt.

Well, I ain’t saying its sort of cool or whatever. Neither it has a good reputation like ubergizmo or coolest-gadgets. But its got a multitude of content and thats what I liked about it. Well, it shows coarseness on the content but thats about it.

If you wanna get some easy information on some down -to-earth or hidden gadgets, techdirt is the place.

————————————————————————————–

Slashdot??? Well, you have definitely heard about it. But let me tell you, this is good in giving the latest news in all domains, exclusively technology. And its good for the way we perceive and want to receive information. Well, this is cool in a different aspect….

If you want a whole article on some particular small and petty thing, slashdot is the place to get it. Well its not that it is rare and exquisite in its venture, but it gives importance to both the big and the small…

Yes, the rumors that you have heard are true. Blackberry is going to come out with its own App Store that will give some tough competition to Apple’s AppStore. The AppStore reported to be out for the newer series of Blackberry phones will be incepted initially only in the Blackberry Bold, the touchscreen version of the phone series.

The on-device music shopping portal will be coming as a great relief to all the techies who loved the BlackBerry but were restrained  from buying it because it was slated as a business phone.

The major difference b/w Apple’s AppStore and Blackberry’s AppStore would be that Blackberry would have its carrier(NSDQ:RIMM) hosting its services rather than RIM, as is the case with the iPhone.

I will come by to you with more details by the end of this month.

Ready to mix business with pleasure…..

How would you react when Google offers to pay you for you being a good crowd gatherer or a hot magnet in a social network. For instance, if you are paid for being a very influential person in a group of several people. This is awesome? Yes it is exactly what Google plans to do…. Google has just published a patent in N/w Node Ad Targeting that will allow Google to peep into other people’s public(mind you its public and not private) profile so as to gather information about his network of friends and will pay the more influential people for placing advertisements on their profiles! Isn’t that cool? Come on, do you care if some ads about marriage portals are placed in your profile as long as you are paid hadsomely in return? I don’t. So my dear readers, start gathering your friends on any social network(I must say Orkut…hehe) and show your charisma…. After all…A friend in need is a friend indeed :)

There are several statements that justify the hyped Yahoo-Google deal might not go through. These statements have to be justified by me, which is the reason why I am writing this post….

Yahoo will ofcourse be able to monetize its webpages if the deal goes through and it will surely earn profit. But the Google Monopoly will aggravate if this happens. Why?  Yahoo can surely monetize the webpages when the rates are high. But Google gets more of the search market which gets the monetizers and regulators worried.

This delay of the deal comes at a very crucial time for Yahoo!. On October 21, Yahoo is to report its 3rd quarter earnings and WallStreet says that it can expect nothing but the worst statistical and financial reports. Whats more? The fourth quarter will give the death blow to Yahoo!. Just check out this chart dudes…

Moreover, there a talk that the less hyped AOL-Yahoo! deal won’t work out either because…

The deal is set to dilute Yahoo! shares and Yahoo cannot pay as much as Time Warner asks for.

Now this is what I like to hear, especially because I am a strict restricter of telemarketers who claim to sell gold at the prize of stone when talking on the phone.

The new Do Not Call Register launched in Canada, sort of a crusade against telemarketing, was an instant hit as all Americans joined the revolution by registering their phone numbers with the registry. But soon enough, as one might not have expected, the software crashed the site down on Tuesday morning and the people went haywire over the net.

Well, what actually was the problem?

The software was loaded on a Linux mainframe by someone who was assigned to develop the site. On the 29th of September, when people and developers went to the site for testing and registry, the problems started appearing. In response, the developers hosted to Windows, and this was a success, but only with them and not with the people.

In a vote conducted among volunteers from Google, Apple, Microsoft, Dell, the result showed that Obama has a good sum of followers in the tech Giants. Lets get some reasons for this inclination…

A site called Opensecrets.org provided the statistics. Just take the candidate name and enter your employer name, you will find that most of the folks backed Obama.

Moreover, McCain does not support net-neutrality while Obama is the ally. This is known from some well known facts that as a commerce committee chairman, McCain could have done something about the Broadband agenda, but he was showing least interest towards it.

Obama has been rushing the following policies:

Deploy next Generation Broadband

Major Expansion of University based Research

Patent System Reform

Scientific integrity

Green Energy Development
